How This Training Has Evolved

Welcome, I’m Lorraine.

When I first began training yoga teachers around 2010, my intention was simple. I wanted to share the practices that had given me clarity, purpose and a deeper understanding of life.

Over the years, this training has naturally evolved. After guiding hundreds of women through their teacher training journey, I have seen first-hand how powerful it can be when women gather together to practice, reflect and learn in a supportive space.

My teaching has also deepened. I have become more trauma-aware, more compassionate in the way I hold space and more interested in the emotional and philosophical dimensions of yoga rather than simply the physical practice.

Much of what shaped this training came from my own experiences as a student. Over time I recognised that many traditional yoga spaces were shaped by hierarchical structures and teachings that did not always leave room for questioning, personal experience or emotional intelligence.

This led me to develop what I now call The Feminine Path of Yoga which is not only the name of my school but It is an approach that honours the wisdom of traditional practices while also encouraging women to trust their intuition, speak with their own voice and discover their inner authority.

Today, this training weaves together many strands of yoga and embodied practice including tantra, philosophy, voice work, ritual, meditation and trauma-informed teaching.

But the heart of the training has always remained the same.

It is about supporting women to deepen their relationship with yoga and to step forward as teachers and leaders who are authentic, thoughtful and grounded in their own wisdom.

Who This Yoga Teacher Training Is For

This 300 hour hybrid yoga teacher training is designed for women who feel called to deepen their understanding of yoga and evolve their teaching in a more authentic and intuitive way. Most students are ready to move beyond technique into a deeper exploration of philosophy, embodiment and expression. This training may be right for you if you are:

A yoga teacher seeking deeper knowledge

You want to expand beyond the physical practice and explore yoga philosophy, tantra and embodied teaching in a meaningful way.

A teacher who wants to find her authentic voice

Rather than copying other teachers or following rigid systems, you want to develop a teaching style that reflects your own intuition, creativity and lived experience.

A woman drawn to a feminine approach to yoga

You feel curious about practices that honour women’s bodies, cycles and emotional intelligence, and you want to explore yoga through a feminine lens.

A teacher interested in trauma-informed yoga

You want to hold space for students with greater sensitivity, compassion and awareness of the nervous system.

personal transformation as well as professional development

This training is not only about becoming a better teacher. It is also a journey into self-understanding, healing and empowerment.

Students come from all over the world, bringing diverse backgrounds and experiences. What connects them is a shared desire to explore yoga as a path of wisdom, embodiment and authentic expression.

your training journey

The 300 hour 'Empowering the Feminine Voice in the World' Hybrid Yoga Teacher Training program is meticulously crafted, ensuring that every detail is considered to enhance both learning and experience for women.

Empowering the Feminine Voice in the World 300 hour is an advanced teacher training and is offered as nine modules. Each module is a complete piece of training in itself and is Yoga Alliance accredited. You can take a single module as a standalone experience or weave them together to reach your full 300hr advanced certification. There is no big lump sum to find up front. You pay for each module as you come to it.

The elemental modules (Earth, Water, Fire and Air) are offered as four day residential immersions in eco friendly retreat venues across the UK. They are also available in an online version for women who cannot travel. The other five modules (Roots, Trauma, Ether, Womb and Integration) run online and are self paced, with the addition of one to one calls with Lorraine woven through to support you along the way.

There is no fixed order. Most women find that Trauma and Roots make a strong starting place because they hold the rest of the work. From there the elements can be taken in whatever order calls to you, with Womb woven alongside them. Integration arrives as the final piece. I am happy to talk through what makes the most sense for your life and your schedule when we have our initial call.

If you want your 300 hour Yoga Alliance advanced teacher training certificate, you will need a 200 hour RYT certification already in hand. Every module is YACEP accredited under Yoga Alliance. Working yoga teachers can bank the hours as Continuing Education credits toward their registration. Women walking the path for their own deepening receive the same recognised Yoga Alliance certificate as a record of their training. Either way, you are held in the same room with the same care.

The beauty of the program being self-paced is that you can take your time and integrate the teachings before moving on to the next module. This way, the teachings have time to settle properly in your body and into the rhythm of your days. You can then start living inside of it so you feel more embodied, connected and supported on your yoga path.

Your 300 Hour Modules

Our 300hr program is our most advanced offering, designed for students to progress module by module, rather than learning everything simultaneously. This structured approach allows for deeper immersion and mastery of each topic. The program consists of nine distinct modules, each certified and complementary to the others. Together, they form a comprehensive and transformative learning journey. You can take all of them online or if you prefer, you can attend our in person immersions with Earth, Water, Fire and Air modules.

7:30 – 10:30 | Morning Sadhana
The day begins with a dedicated practice including asana, pranayama, meditation and ritual. These morning sessions are often held in silence, allowing students to drop deeply into their practice and connect with their inner awareness.

A nourishing brunch is shared together, offering time to relax, connect with fellow students and enjoy fresh, locally prepared food.

12:00 – 14:00 | The Art of Being a Teacher

14:00 – 16:00 | Rest and Integration
Afternoons include space for rest, reflection and personal time. Students may choose to journal, explore the surrounding nature, swim in the river or simply relax.
