50 Hour Online Training

Trauma-Informed Yoga Training

This 50 hour Trauma-Informed Yoga training offers yoga teachers and practitioners a deeper understanding of how trauma can impact the body, mind and nervous system, and how yoga can be offered in a way that supports safety, choice and regulation.

Many students arrive in yoga spaces carrying experiences that have shaped their nervous systems and their relationship with their bodies. This training explores how yoga teachers can create environments that feel supportive and empowering rather than overwhelming or triggering.

Through a combination of theory, embodied practice and practical teaching tools, you will learn how to recognise trauma responses, understand the role of the nervous system, and guide yoga practices with greater sensitivity and awareness.

Rooted in compassion and attunement, the course explores how elements such as language, pacing, sequencing, touch and presence can profoundly influence a student’s experience in class.

By the end of the training, you will have a deeper understanding of trauma-informed principles and the confidence to create yoga spaces that encourage safety, connection and self-awareness for the people you teach.
