Uma Dinsmore-Tuli

Uma met yoga in 1969, at the age of four, and fell in love. She’s been practicing ever since, and teaching yoga since 1994. A yoga therapist with special expertise in yoga therapy for women’s health, and has written four books on yoga for women, including the world reknown Yoni Shakti, and two books on Yoga Nidra.

Uma is certified as a Yoga Therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapy (C-IAYT) and has diplomas from the Yoga Biomedical Trust and Mukunda Stiles' Structural and Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy. Her foundational studies were in Iyengar and Satyananda yoga, and her inspiration now comes from the "Feminine Unfolding" practice of Angela Farmer. She co-founded the Yoga Nidra Network and is passionate about sharing creative and intuitive approaches to yoga nidra.
